Unitas 2024 Impact Report: Empowering Young People, Transforming Futures
2024 was quite a year for Unitas! From unforgettable moments in our music studios to hot meals shared and futures reshaped, our 2024 Impact Report tells the powerful story of what happens when young people have a safe space to belong and grow.
This year, over 34,500 visits were made to Unitas Youth Zone, each one representing a young person stepping into a space designed just for them. Our doors stayed open for 2,192 hours, providing more than just activities: we offered belonging, mentoring, laughter, learning, and life-changing opportunities.
We served 2,057 hot meals during the winter months, proving that youth centres aren’t a luxury- they’re essential. From boxing to baking, climbing to dancing, and everything in between, we’ve helped young people swap screens for real-world skills and build confidence, resilience and dreams.
And the results speak volumes:
- 89% of members improved aspirations and work readiness
- 95% of high-attending members reported improved self-confidence
- Our social value hit £17.9 million, that’s a return of £11.63 for every £1 invested
